On Friday March 25th the boys track team placed second place and the girls placed fourth place overall at the Andrews Invitational meet. The boys won first place in the 4×800 relay race. Rachel Leggett and Caden Howard won first place in the high jump. Each athlete at the race gave it their all. As the athletes were battling the other runners their teammates excitedly cheered them on. They continue to put their best effort into the sport to improve and achieve their personal record. “Track is a mental sport, it never gets easier, you just get stronger.” says Lily-Ana Campbell. The team continues to practice and get stronger as the season comes to a close.
